30-Minute Children's Reiki Session
Service Description
Reiki for ages newborn to 12 years old. Reiki is safe and can do no harm. The calming practice of Reiki can benefit infants and children by promoting relaxation and confidence. Reiki is the gently laying of the hands in specific positions on or just above the clothed body. The therapeutic touch helps manage emotions and eases physical discomforts by acting on the parasympathetic nervous system. Ten to fifteen minutes is likely all that will be needed. Red Pine Reiki's is an authorized service provider for the Children's Long-Term Support Program (CLTS) in all 72 counties in the State of Wisconsin and is listed in the Wisconsin Dept. of Health Services CLTS provider directory. The CLTS program provides funding for supportive services for children and teens with disabilities. Reiki services are listed under the service codes of Empowerment and Self-directed supports for teens who take Reiki classes to learn self-treatment and under Health and Wellness for children and teens who are authorized for Reiki sessions. Please reach out to me or your child's CLTS Facilitator for more information to see if your child qualifies for CLTS funded Reiki services.
Cancellation Policy
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your session or class. This is important. Red Pine Reiki is operated out of my family's home. This means we could be eating, showering, finishing up a family task, arriving home ourselves, or I may be in session with another person with the understanding that there is time to continue our task until 15 minutes before your booking. CANCELATION POLICY: Reiki sessions may be paid at time of booking or in-person. I understand life happens. Those who book a session to be paid in person will have a cancellation fee when it becomes a pattern. The third time a session is canceled, you will be sent an invoice for a $20 cancelation fee. If you've already paid online and want to cancel, please contact me and we will select a new day and time. Pre-paid sessions may choose to reschedule twice. Pre-paid sessions that are rescheduled for a second time become non-refundable. This means that if you have pre-paid for a session and you have rescheduled twice, then the third time it is rescheduled, a new session fee will be required. I'm always happy to share Reiki with you. REIKI PACKAGE EXPIRATION DATES (3 for 2 session packages): 3 for 2 Reiki session packages expire one year from the purchase date. REIKI GIFT CERTIFICATES: These do not expire. Yes, this means even if it is 5 years later, I will honor your gift certificate. Someone cared about you and gifted you the beautiful art of Reiki. I'm a strong believer in setting the seed of Reiki, and you may not have been ready. Reiki finds you when you are ready. Reiki gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstances SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS: I wish to accommodate anyone with limited mobility. The main floor of my home is wheelchair and walker accessible from the garage and has a bathroom that can accommodate a wheelchair. Reiki can be provided in a wheelchair, chair, or recliner which can be arranged for you with proper notice.
