90-Minute Reiki Session

Service Description

A 90-minute Jikiden Reiki session is designed to feel both structured and deeply natural, staying close to the original Japanese teachings while allowing the body to guide the process. In Jikiden Reiki, the focus is on what your body is expressing right now. The session offers a deeper more immersive healing rooted in Japanese Reiki practice and not modern Western practices. The session allows time for your nervous system to settle, your mind to quiet, and your body to guide the process of healing. You remain fully clothed, laying comfortable on a treatment table or recliner. You will receive hands-on Reiki treatment guided by your body's needs rather than a fixed routine. This session is excellent for targeting an area of physical pain, emotional health or chronic condition, while also receiving a full body session promoting peace and relaxation. The session includes techniques instructed by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Japan. It may include a Japanese Reiki technique Ketsueki Kokan Ho to enhance blood circulation and/or a Jikiden technique, Sei Heki Chiryo, to facilitate the body's own healing capacity to address mental or emotional health concerns. Sei Heki Chiryo is a traditional Reiki technique used to support the release of emotional and mental patterns. By gently working with the energy of the mind, Reiki helps calm repetitive thoughts, ease emotional tension, and create space for new, healthier patterns to emerge - naturally without force. Sei - Habits, tendencies, personality Heki - patterns or conditioned behaviors Chiryo - treatment or healing "Treatment of habits" or "healing of mental/emotional patterns." Clients may experience a deep quieting of thoughts, emotional release (sometimes subtle, sometimes noticeable), a shift in perspective or reactivity over time, feeling lighter, clearer, or more grounded. Often, the changes happen gently and progressively after the session. Reiki helps downshift the nervous system from constant alert to calm focus, release physical tension stored in the body, and clears mental overload. It works alongside your natural systems to help restore balance. It compliments medical care and supports over-all wellbeing. A 90-minute Jikiden Reiki session is a deep reset - helping your system settle, your mind clear, and your body release tension so you can function at your best and appropriate for both men and women.
