Select this session for Reiki to be provided in the comfort of your or a loved one's home. Reiki is helpful and appropriate for home health, hospice, and palliative care situations and benefits both patients and caregivers! Home Health and Palliative Care Reiki: Reiki supports the process of healing for a wide range of ailments, including stress, chronic and acute pain, fear, depression, grief, trauma, chronic physical and emotional health conditions, autoimmune disease, cancer, fatigue, insomnia, and more. Reiki can help reduce pain and the need for analgesics and helps patients feel more relaxed and able to cope. Reiki helps calm the body, mind, and spirit of patients and caregivers. Hospice Reiki: Reiki can be especially beneficial for terminally ill patients and their caregivers. The gentle touch and calm setting of a Reiki session can be relaxing for the patient and can help caregivers who are overwhelmed by caregiving and grief. Hospice patients have appreciated Reiki's ability to diminish pain and provide symptom relief. Some studies suggest that Reiki can be effective in improving symptoms for cancer patients and the elderly. Other studies show that Reiki can be an effective intervention in hospitals for stage III and IV cancer patients. Reiki is provided in the comfort of your home. Home health Reiki is an excellent choice for you or your loved one who may be homebound, isolated, frail elderly, disabled, have dementia, special needs, in hospice, and or their caregivers. Reiki can be performed in a recliner, chair, wheelchair, or a portable Reiki table. I am a Certified Social Worker with 25+ years' experience completing home health visits. My past career responsibilities have included home health and behavioral health case-management, conducting caregiver needs assessments, and facilitating a caregiver support group. I have experience as the dementia lead for Monroe County and I am the co-founder of the Monroe County Dementia Friendly Committee. I have been employed as a hospital social worker for the medical/surgery unit at Black River Memorial Hospital. Cancellation Policy
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your session or class. This is important. Red Pine Reiki is operated out of my family's home. This means we could be eating, showering, finishing up a family task, arriving home ourselves, or I may be in session with another person with the understanding that there is time to continue our task until 15 minutes before your booking. REIKI SESSIONS may be paid at time of booking or in-person. I understand life happens. Those who book a session to be paid in person will have a cancellation fee when it becomes a pattern. The third time a session is canceled, you will be sent an invoice for a $20 cancelation fee. If you've already paid online and want to cancel, please contact me and we will select a new day and time. Pre-paid sessions may choose to reschedule twice. Pre-paid sessions that are rescheduled for a second time become non-refundable. This means that if you have pre-paid for a session and you have rescheduled twice, then the third time it is rescheduled, a new session fee will be required. I'm always happy to share Reiki with you. REIKI PACKAGE EXPIRATION DATES (3 for 2 session packages): 3 for 2 Reiki session packages expire one year from the purchase date. REIKI GIFT CERTIFICATES: These do not expire. Yes, this means even if it is 5 years later, I will honor your gift certificate. Someone cared about you and gifted you the beautiful art of Reiki. I'm a strong believer in setting the seed of Reiki, and you may not have been ready. Reiki finds you when you are ready. Reiki gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstance. REIKI CLASS FEE NOTICE: Class reservation fees are non-refundable, but you can reschedule to a later class should there be an unexpected conflict, or you are not feeling well. It is common to experience detoxification symptoms in the days prior to a Reiki session or class. Pre-class detox systems may present as a headache, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, and anxiety. The body knows that there will be a mind and spirit transformation. You may wish to try and attend class if the symptoms are not serious, and it is good to begin your healing journey. However, the option exists to cancel, reschedule and come when you feel well. The fee can be transferred to a future class within one year of the original date of class. Please note that the ability to move the fee forward to a different class expires 1 year from the original class date.
